Charles F. Brubaker Sr

Etters—Charles F. "Bud" Brubaker, Sr, 65, passed away, Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Harrisburg Hospital. He was the husband of Bonnie L. (Drabenstadt) Brubaker. The couple would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 23rd, 2010. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 22, 2010 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc, 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry, with retired pastor, the Rev. Carl F. Peterson, officiating. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Tri-County Memorial Gardens. Born April 8, 1944 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Frances (Malone) Brubaker. He was a small business owner of Red Land Body Shop, which he operated for the past 35 years. Charles was always known for being very kind. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, his work and pets. In addition to his wife, Mr. Brubaker is also survived by six children, Kenneth Brubaker and his wife, Diana of Mechanicsburg, Tina Bruner and her husband, Rick of Florida, Charles "Bud" Brubaker Jr., of Etters, Fran Miller of Harrisburg, Karrin Seaton and her husband, Gene of Etters and Debra Brubaker of York, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, two brothers, Kenneth V. Brubaker and his wife, Terri of New York and Richard V. Brubaker and his wife, Bonnie of New Cumberland and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Brubaker.
