Charles E. Whitehead

YORK- Charles E. Whitehead, 66, passed away Wednesday June 14, 2017 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Mary H. (Kourey) Whitehead, to whom he was married to 32 years. Born on October 20, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Reinilda (Spellman) Whitehead and the late Jack Whitehead. He worked for over 14 years at Harley Davidson. Charles was also the member of Masonic Lodge #706. He was an avid Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles fan, and loved collecting toy trains and antique clocks. In addition to his wife Charles is survived by, three daughters, Michelle Massa of York, Ashley Whitehead of York, and Kristin Whitehead of York, three grandchildren Kyle Shaffer, Milaniah Drae Hall, and Chloe Wesner, one sister, Mary Patricia Figgins, and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Whitehead. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
