Charles E. Ehrhart

YORK - Charles E. "Skip" Ehrhart, 74, died Monday, September 20, 2010 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Jeanne M. (Shearer) Ehrhart. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road in York with The Reverend Dr. S. Philip Covert officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 to 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Born February 14, 1936 in York, he was the son of the late Clare E. and Margie M. (Ferree) Ehrhart. He retired from Densply after 23 years of service and worked for Rutter's Farm Store. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in York. Mr. Ehrhart leaves a sister-in-law, Elaine Ehrhart; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, John F. Ehrhart; and two sisters, Betty M. Saylor and Agnes Garbrick. Memorial contributions can be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 340 East Market Street, York, PA 17403.
