MILL HALL - Charles E. Cummings, 55 of Hobson Street, passed away, Sunday, February 5, 2012 at his residence. He was born September 29, 1956 in Lock Haven the son of the late Henry and Freda (Moore) Cummings. Charles was currently employed for the Lock Haven Sewage Treatment Plant as a manager. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He was a member of Twin Springs Hunting Lodge of Renovo Road, Backwoods Bass Club, and Elks where he served as past Exalted Ruler. Charles was a former Mill Hall Councilman from 1998 – 2004. Surviving are one daughter Krista L. Cummings of Canton also surviving are three brothers William and Henry of Beech Creek and Robert of Lock Haven, four sisters Debra Corbin of Milesburg, Carol Hess of Woolrich, Cathy Laguna of Palmyra, Brenda Duck of Mill Hall and Jennifer Cummings of Lock Haven. A son Thomas in 1984 and a sister Donna Kay Cummings preceded him in death in 1967. The funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel. An Elks service will be held at 7:45 P.M. Interment will be at Dunnstown Cemetery.
