WILKES-BARRE-Charles D. Palmer, Sr., 53, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday morning in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Edward and Evis Pauline (Wolfinger) Palmer. Charles was employed as a cook by Perkins Restaurant. He loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Beverly Palmer and Henrietta Allen Surviving is his wife of 35 years, Tina M. Harrison; his sons Charles Palmer, II and Rannie Palmer; a daughter, Charlene Palmer; grandchildren, Jalen, Aubrie, Keyshawn, Nasir, Raina, Gianna and Alayna Palmer; brothers Fred Palmer and William Palmer; sisters Mary Taylor, Joy Davis, Pamela Palmer, Brea McCrea and Theresa Goodwin. Funeral services will be held Thursday evening at 8 p.m. at Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with the Reverend James Breese officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.
