Charles 'Chuck' M. Barber

Valdosta, GA – Charles “Chuck” M. Barber, 27, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at his residence in Georgia. A viewing will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 from 1-3 pm at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry, PA, 17339. Born February 25, 1984 in Monongahela, PA, he was the loving son of Therion and Karen (Varsel) Barber. Chuck worked as a trainer at Cheddar’s Casual Café in Valdosta, GA. In addition to his parents, Chuck is survived by a brother, Thomas J. Barber and wife Andrea of New Jersey; a sister, Megan M. Barber of Etters; two sets of grandparents, Stanley and Edna Varsel of Georgia and Thomas and Mary Benn of Mississippi; and 5 nieces and nephews, Christian, Logan, Adia, Savanna, and Jayden. ‘Our Son “Chuck”: For 27 years you graced this earth with your kind and generous ways. You gave to others, even when you had to go without, never asking anything in return except love. You brought laughter and happiness into our lives. Now you leave us with sorrow and a huge void, but we will always have memories of you, and you will never be forgotten. The strength of your love reached out to others. Grandparents that are here to support and help teach are impacted by this loss. God has made this decision for all of us, and we will never know the reason. All we know is the pain and the hard struggle we will go through for the rest of our lives without you. We love you, and you will always be in our hearts. Your memory will not leave us. Thank you for all you gave us. God bless you!’
