Charles A. Taglieri

WRIGHTSVILLE- Charles Albert Taglieri, 71 of Lower Windsor Township, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Maxine Diane (Shoff) Taglieri. The couple celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on August 9th. Mr. Taglieri was born in Shamokin, PA on September 13, 1949, the son of the E. Joan (Long) Knutson of York and the late Charles E. Taglieri. He retired from Caterpillar in York and later worked for Safe Harbor Dam. He volunteered as an officer for Lake Clarke Rescue. He was a member of Hellam VFW and the American Legion. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Along with his wife Maxine, He leaves a son, Charles A. Taglieri, Jr. and his wife Debra of Wrightsville; two grandchildren, Emily and Julia Taglieri; and three brothers, David Taglieri and his wife Sheila of Trevorton, Col. John Taglieri and his wife Julie of Seattle, WA, and Joseph Taglieri and his wife Kristy of Denver, CO. Memorial contributions may be made to Lake Clarke Rescue, 1838 Long Level Rd., Wrightsville, PA 17368. Services will be private.
