Charles A. Stackhouse, Jr

Glenville—Charles A. Stackhouse, Jr., 91, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Barbara J. Egan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Merry Noel (Poet) Stackhouse. A Celebration of Life Service will be 1 PM, Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 2100 Hollywood Dr., York, with Bishop Richard Miles officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born September 3, 1923 in York, he was a son of the late Charles A. Stackhouse, Sr., and Anna C. (Sayers) Stackhouse. He was employed in the Space and Defense Industry working as an electronic engineer for Scope Inc., and M. Leder Company. He also helped co-found Omni Graphics with son Michael. Mr. Stackhouse is survived by two sons, C. Michael Stackhouse and his wife, Debra of Glenville and Jeffrey A. Stackhouse and his wife, Wendy of Burbank, CA; five grandchildren, Joshua, Tyler, Caleb and his wife, Nikki, Meaghan and Liam; one great grandchild, Kayden.
