Red Lion—Charles A. Coeyman, 81, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Dawn P. (Paley) Coeyman to whom he was married for 59 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2PM, Monday, January 30, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church, 220 N. Charles St., Red Lion with Pastor Ed Robbins officiating. Viewings will be held Sunday, from 6-8PM at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion and Monday, from 1-2PM at the church. Burial will be held in Red Lion Cemetery. Born June 25, 1935 in Red Lion, he was the son of the late Spurgeon and Verna (Fauth) Coeyman. He graduated from Red Lion High School in 1953 and later earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Physics from Gettysburg College. He was employed as a Quality Control Manager for 20 plus years with AMP until his retirement. One of his favorite hobbies was building and flying model airplanes, he also enjoyed reading and playing tennis. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Red Lion and Treasurer of the Red Lion Cemetery Assoc. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Mr. Coeyman is also survived by one daughter, Cindy L. Zeider and husband, Dave of Indiana; one son, Randy A. Coeyman and wife, Jessica of Dover; four grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Logan and Haydyn; one great granddaughter, April and several cousins. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 220 N. Charles Street, Red Lion, Pa 17356 or American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Ave, York, Pa 17403.
