Charlene R. Glass

REBERSBURG, PA – Charlene R. (Troup) Glass, formerly of York Haven, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Geisinger Hospital in Jersey Shore. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Glass, Sr. who passed away on June 6, 2021. Charlene and Robert had been married for 47 years. A public viewing will be held from 1-3:00 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry. Born November 24, 1941 in York, a daughter of the late Virginia M. (Fry) and Melvin L. Troup, Sr.; she had retired from Sketchley’s Laundry in York. Mrs. Glass cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved to keep a clean house. Mrs. Glass is survived by four sons, Joseph L. Heiges, Jr. of York Haven, Leon E. Heiges of Duncannon, Kenneth L. Heiges of York Haven, Timothy A. and wife Michele Glass of York Haven; a stepson, Robert E. Glass, Jr. and wife Nancy Glass of Etters; a daughter, Tracey L. and husband William Keckler of Rebersburg, PA; grandchildren, Ginnie, Louie, Keith, Madison, Brandon, Shayna, Zachary, Christopher, Samantha, William, Joshua, Terrica and Cody; 20 great grandchildren; three brothers; seven sisters; and her beloved poodle “Missy” and dachshund “Bridget”.
