Charlene E. Vinson

WILLIAMSPORT - Charlene E. Vinson, 59, died on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at her brother's residence in Williamsport. Charlene was born on October 28, 1948 in Muncy and was a daughter of the late John E. and Hannah F. (Rose) Vinson. She had worked as a store clerk at the American Rescue Workers since 1985 and had attended the New Columbia Gods Missionary Church in New Columbia. Charlene is survived by one brother and two sisters-in-law; Willard E. and Sheri Vinson of Williamsport and Barbara Vinson of Tracy, Minn., three nieces; Christina Herron, Hailey Vinson and Shelby Vinson, one great niece; Aubrey Vinson and one great nephew; Ellis Herron. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; John E. Vinson, Jr. There will be a public viewing from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street, Williamsport, PA with the funeral service beginning at 7:30 p.m. with the Reverend Matthew P. Ellison officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Charlene be made to the New Columbia Gods Missionary Church, Building Fund Project, P.O. Box 97, White Deer, PA 17887 or to the Susquehanna Home Care & Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
