Charlaine V. (Hoover) Hoffheins

York—Charlaine V. (Hoover) Hoffheins, 59, died Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Memorial Hospital. A tribute service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with the Rev. Susan Oelrich, chaplain at York County Nursing and Rehabilition Center officiating. Burial will be held in Mt. Rose Cemetery. A viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral chapel. Mrs. Hoffheins was born December 27, 1947 in Harrisburg, a daughter Ida of G. (Vance) Hoover of York and the late Charles E. Hoover. She was a dedicated employee of Dauphin Deposit Bank in York for 25 years, until her retirement in 1997. She loved spending time with her family, especially her nephews. An avid Penn State fan, she also enjoyed gardening. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Hoffheins is survived by two sisters, Rise D. Chambers of York and Kimberly A. Smith of Mt. Wolf and her husband Kenneth, 5 nephews and 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
