Cecil L. Stull

Jersey Shore - Cecil L. Stull, 82 died Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Jersey Shore Hospital. Cecil was married to the former Phyllis Lorraine Hinton who survives. He was born October 19, 1925 in Beech Creek the son of Frank & Hazel (Hoffman) Stull. He retired from Piper aircraft in 1985 after 33 years. Cecil was an avid hunter and loved gardening. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially with his grandchildren. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. Surviving are his wife and one son Gary (Mary) Probst, Sr. of Jersey Shore. 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 bothers and 4 sisters. The funeral service will be held 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Rev. Richard Jones officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Geisinger Medical Center.
