Cathy C. Dippery

YORK- Cathy (Callender) Dippery, 67, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:57am on Sunday, June 19, 2016, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Cathy was born June 24, 1948 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Bruce Callender, her mother Dorothy Callender, her father Warren Callender, and her husband Michael Dippery. She is survived by two sons, Nathan and Jeremy, both of Selingsgrove; her sisters, Patricia Horton of Arizona, Diane Barbarino of Pittsburgh and Dawn Miller of Selingsgrove, and many other extended family members, all of whom meant a great deal to her. She is also survived by her cat, Earl, who provided her with over 17 years of fun and companionship. Cathy was selfless and put others first at all times, especially her late husband and sons. She worked hard at various jobs for many years and even advanced her education later in life. Cathy will be most remembered for her reputation as a caregiver. She enjoyed music, being out on the open road and driving, playing bingo with friends, enjoying her pool, making people laugh, and most of all, her family.
