Catherine A. Moore POTTSVILLE-Catherine A. Moore, 76, of Pottsville, passed away Saturday morning at York Terrace Nursing Home, Pottsville. Born in Branchdale on March 9, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Lucinda Gottschall Ganly. She was a graduate of Reilly Twp. High School. She was retired from the former BJ Knitters, Jallappa, wher she worked as a sewing machine operator. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Moore, who passed away December 3, 2007; her three sisters, Rosemary Harmon, Lucretia Ganly and Mary Bernadette Ganly; her two brothers, Ambrose and Daniel Ganly. She is survived by her son, Joseph E. Moore, Jr., Mar-lin; her brother, Joseph Ganly, of Tremont; her three sisters, Margaret O'Brien, of Flushing, NY, Teresa Ann Gleason, of Forestville and Ginny Bishop, of Petersburg, VA; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass at the Church. Interment will be held in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Pottsville. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John the Baptist Memorial Fund, 913 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
