Cassandra J. 'Cassie' Snyder

POTTSVILLE- Cassandra J. “Cassie” Snyder, 16, of Pottsville passed away Saturday morning. Born in Pottsville on July 12, 1995 she was a daughter of James J. Snyder, Jr., of Pottsville and Stephanie Herb, of Pottsville. Cassie just completed her junior year at Pottsville Area High School where she was an honor student with aspirations to attend college to study microbiology. She was a member of the Biology, Ecology, Spanish and Drama Clubs and a member of the Tennis team. She participated in the Envirathon. Music was her life. She loved attending festivals for up and coming artists and was learning how to play the guitar. She loved to shop. She was a member of the Schuylkill YMCA/YWCA, Pottsville. She worked at Burger King. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Pottsville. She is preceded in death by her maternal Grandparents, Jeanne and David Herb; her Aunt, Maryann Herb; her uncle, Raymond Herb. In addition to her parents, Cassie is survived by her brother, Timothy F. “Timmy” Snyder, of Pottsville, the love of her life, her boyfriend, Brad Hoffman, of Pottsville; her paternal grandparents, James and Sandra Snyder, of Pottsville; several Aunt, Uncles and cousins. Family and friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Streets, Garfield Square, Pottsville. Memorial services will be private. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
