Carymn L. (Petry) Walker

YORK -Carymn L. (Petry) Walker, 67, died Monday, January 25, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of Michael E. Walker to whom she was married to for 33 years. Funeral services are private at the request of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Walker was born March 18, 1942 in York, a daughter of the late Kenneth K. and Dorcas L. (Spangler) Petry. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, who devoted all her time to her family. She enjoyed shopping and watching NASCAR, and was an avid animal lover. In addition to her husband, Michael, Carymn is survived by two sons, Ronald Frymyer and wife, Linda, and Stephen Walker, all of York; two daughters, Debra Cort and husband, Steven of Kansas City, MO, and Christine Mannino and husband, Timothy of Dover; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Gary Petry; a sister Joyce Spangler; and nieces and nephews.
