YORK- Carroll F. Lentz, 91, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Manor Care Health Services- South. He was the husband of the late Dorrien L. (Hengst) Lentz. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. His pastor, The Reverend Curtis R. Weber will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Blymire's U.C.C. Cemetery in Dallastown. Mr. Lentz was born in Felton on October 19, 1915, a son of the late Arthur E. and Mary M. (Ferree) Lentz. He retired from the former Merchant's Box Factory in Dallastown, prior to that he worked as a farmer, a mason and for various local feed companies. He was a member of St. John's (Blymire's) U.C.C. and AARP. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Lentz leaves two daughters: Jeanette Black and her husband Claude of Belleville, PA and Jean Nelson and her husband Richard of Red Lion, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great, great grandson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Bailey and a brother, Clarence Lentz. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's (Blymire's) U.C.C., 1009 S. Blymire Rd., Dallastown, PA 17313.
