York—Carroll A. “Mick” McWilliams, 75, passed away, Sunday, June 11, 2017 at York Select Specialty Hospital surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11AM, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with Certified Celebrant, Betty M. Frey officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11AM, Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Jefferson Cemetery. Born February 7, 1942 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Thomas C. McWilliams, Sr., and Ruthanna M. (Bair) McWilliams. He was employed with Certainteed Roofing Corp for 25 years as a back tender until his retirement. An avid sports fan, he also enjoyed spending time at September House Senior Center, bowling and playing bingo at the local fire halls. Mr. McWilliams is survived by three siblings, Barbara A. Smith and her husband, Thomas of Spring Grove, Thomas C. McWilliams, Jr., and wife, Treva of York and Sandra M. Roberts and her husband, Preston of Dover; a special niece and nephew, Melissa Smith and Steven Smith and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Barry L.
