Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Airville Carrie E. (Harper) Schrum, 71, died on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Daniel D. Jack Schrum to whom she was married 52 years. A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 25,, 2011 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Dr. Charles W. Salisbury officiating. Viewings will be held Sunday, April 24, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Monday 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens following the service. Mrs. Schrum was born September 18, 1939 in Allegany County, Md. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Harper and Mildred (Sterner) Wagaman. Mrs. Schrum worked as a cake decorator at Barrys Food Market in Craley until her retirement. She was a member of Conewago Trail Riders and Circle T Trail Riders as well as New Bridgeville Fire Company. Mrs. Schrum enjoyed sewing and crafts as her hobbies. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Schrum is survived by four daughters, Debra K. Shaull and husband Duane of Brouge, Dianna L. Leiphart and husband Eric of Airville, Dolores E. Krick and husband Stephen of Airville, and Darlene M. Fike and husband Walter Butch of Felton; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Burtis Harper of Dover, H. Lee Harper and wife Celstia of York and Donald Wagaman and wife Patricia of New Oxford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
