York — Carolyn M. “Carol” (Koons) Crowl, 74, left this life Thursday, May 24, 2012 to live forever with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ as promised in His word, Revelation 21:3-4. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 AM, Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Redland Valley Brethren in Christ Church, 3555 Lewisberry Rd, York Haven with her pastor, the Rev. Brian Willison officiating. Viewings will be held from 7-9 PM, Tuesday and from 10-11 AM, Wednesday, at the church. Burial will be held in Red Mount Cemetery. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born May 19, 1938 in Red Lion, she was a daughter of late Sterling C. and Viola M. (Meckley) Koons. She was a co-owner of Locust Point Service for 28 years and later worked as an administrative assistant with MA Consulting for 15 years. She was a member of Redland Valley Brethren in Christ Church. Mrs. Crowl is survived by one son, Richard M. Robinson of Dover; two daughters, Sharon L. Robinson of York and Barbara A. Schrum and husband, Andy of Dover; one step son, Donald E. Crowl of Dover; four grandchildren, Alecia M. Armold, Matthew R. Armold, Rebecca M. Schrum and Amanda J. Heckert; two great grandchildren, Logan and Lydia Heckert and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Jean Koons and two brothers, Kenneth L. and Floyd B. Koons.
