Carolyn Louise (Dennis) Tracy

YORK- Carolyn Louise (Dennis) Tracy, 76, died on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at York Hospital. She was the wife of James W. Tracy to whom she was married for 22 years.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life service will be held at a future date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.

Born on April 25, 1948 in York, she was a daughter of the late Raymond F. and Helen C. (Sipe) Dennis Sr. She was a 1966 graduate of Central York High School. Carolyn was a wonderful mother, wife, homemaker and friend.

Mrs. Tracy was a great singer who performed in various musicals in high school and in York. She loved arts and crafts, music, reading, gardening, cooking, baking and was a seamstress. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas, was a proud conservative and Trump supporter and most importantly loved spending time with her husband and grandchildren. She loved her husband dearly.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Tiffany K. Muller of Sarasota, FL; seven grandchildren, Abigail, Jack M., Kaleb, Jack H., Colton, Henry and Lucy; brother, Raymond Dennis, Jr. and his wife, Cyndi of Brandon, FL; three sisters, Shirley Dennis, Deborah Stover and Kay Markel all of York; and nephew, Mark Dennis of Etters, PA and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, William H. Workinger who died in 1996.
