YORK- Carolyn G. (Snyder) Kline, our darling Mother, Nana, Sister, Aunt, and always a great friend, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the age of 82. Not a day will go by that she won’t be deeply missed. Born December 5, 1935 in Yoe, Carolyn was a daughter to the late Bruce Roscoe and Madelyn G. (Roseman) Snyder. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Red Lion. She loved reading, sewing and knitting afghans and scarves that she lovingly gave away. Carolyn was known for her generosity and kindness. Her warmth and love were evident in every role she played. She lived by the Golden Rule, ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you’, and because of that she was able to impact the lives of many. Carolyn was a strong, loving, independent woman who was an inspiration to others. Her memory will live on in those whose hearts she touched forever. Her laugh will be remembered fondly, as she was always able to find the humor and silver lining in every moment. Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Susan Smith, Pamela Sylo, and Madelyn Hoffman; her seven grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Abby Clark, Hillary Sylo, Hanna Sylo, Demi Hoffman, Gigi Hoffman, and Teague Hoffman; her siblings, JoAnn Seidenstricker and B. Robert Snyder; numerous nieces and nephews, and many great friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Snyder, and her brother, William R. Snyder.
