Carolyn E. (Mieskey) Howard Dorsey

York - Carolyn E. (Mieskey) Howard Dorsey, 72, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Gregory S. Dorsey to whom she was married for 40 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. A viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born October 11, 1942 in York, a daughter of the late Violet (Mieskey) Decker, she retired from Key Plastics after 10 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Dorsey is survived by five sons, Maurice E. Kefauver IV and wife Tracey, Michael E. Kefauver Sr., Brain K. Howard and wife Lori, Robert R. Howard Sr. and wife Wanda all of York, Mark A. Howard of Baltimore; one daughter, Rhonda V. Phillips and husband Gregory of York; Three brothers, Dennis Betz of Delaware, Joey Zutell of Dover, and Donald Decker of York; two sisters, Joanne Blouse of York and Sherry Anthony of Florida; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson Robert R. Howard III.
