Carolyn E. Mason

MILTON - Carolyn E. (Tanner) Mason, 67, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. She was born on July 05, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Edger and Erma (Tate) Tanner. Carolyn married Alfred W. Mason, who survives, on November 18, 1964 and they celebrated 49 years of marriage together. She was a graduate of Milton Area High School class of 1964. Carolyn was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Milton, I.B.P.O.E. Elks Club Nancy Willey Wilson Temple, Williamsport and a current District Deputy of the Grand Lodge, Harrisburg. She enjoyed poetry, reading, social networking, being proud of her ability to use the internet and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband Alfred, she is survived by one son; Alfred J. Mason of Orlando, FL, one daughter and son-in-law; Dhana Michelle and Eddie Jacobs of Baltimore, MD, five grandchildren; Deja, Michala, Kiashea, Janaiya and Jaylon Jacobs all of Baltimore, MD, two brothers and one sister-in-law; Edger and Gayle Tanner of Allentown and David Tanner of Allentown. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by one brother; Albert Tanner and one granddaughter; Ebonee Mason. A public viewing will be held 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Sunday, December 01, 2013 and again from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 02, 2013 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton PA 17847, followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
