POTTSVILLE- Caroline T. Hartnett, 68, of Honey Grove, formerly of Pottsville, passed away Monday evening at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia on March 12, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Leona Boyer Yablonsky. Caroline was a 1962 graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Pottsville and received an associates degree in accounting from the former Schuylkill Business Institute. Caroline retired from Giant Food Market, Pottsville where she worked for over 10 years in the deli department and as a cashier. She was of the Catholic faith. In addition to her parents, Caroline was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Hartnett, Sr., who passed away October 11, 1998; her sister, Theresa Barrett and her brother, Edward Yablonsky. Caroline is survived by her daughters, Tracy Schartel, of Saint Clair and Catherine Royer, wife of Jeff, of Honey Grove, PA; her sons, Robert W. Hartnett, of Ickesburg, PA and Sean P. Hartnett, of Pottsville; Her five grandchildren, Teresa Narey, Kayleigh and Patrick Schartel, Amanda Hartnett and Jeffrey Royer; Her sister Mary Klinger, wife of Donald, of Ashland; her brothers, Walter Yablonsky, of Ashland and Cyprus “Chippy” Yablonsky, of Frackville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 11:30 A.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Sts., Pottsville. Family and friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. and also on Friday morning from 10:30 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Online condolences may be sent to bestlifetributes.com.
