Caroline M. Adams

Renovo - Caroline M. Adams, 88 passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007 with her family by her side at Bucktail Medical Center. She was born in Drury's Run on October 26, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Edward G. & Ida Mae (Stout) Bunnell. Caroline was a 1937 graduate of Renovo High School. She married Charles F. Adams in 1938. They celebrated 58 years of a blessed marriage. She was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother who always gave her abundance of caring and love to her entire family. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, dancing, playing bingo and the Pennsylvania lottery daily. She occasionally worked outside the home at St. Joseph Church Rectory and the former YMCA as a cleaning person. She was a member of the Lady Bird Democratic Club and a charter member of the F.O. Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her two daughters Sara (Eugene) O'Hearn of Ashland, PA and Carolyn (Thomas) Lucas of Cogan Station and also a Son Richard (Mary) Adams of Renovo. Six grandsons, six great-grandchildren and a sister Iona G. Stout who is 100 of Dearborn, Michigan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles F., a son Charles E., and a sister Esther Jane and a brother Clarence E. Bunnell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at St. Joseph Church, 925 Huron Ave., with Rev. Donald E. Boslett officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the church one hour prior to the mass. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hyner. The immediate family will provide the flowers.
