RED LION-Carole C. (Clarkson) Hanna 78, peacefully entered into eternal rest while surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Inners Creek Nursing and Rehab in Dallastown. She was the loving wife of Roy L. Hanna. The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on February 5, 2025. 

Mrs. Hanna was born in York on August 1, 1946, the daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy (Shellenberger) Clarkson. She was a 1964 graduate of Red Lion High School, where she met the love of her life Roy. She retired after having over a 25 year career in real estate. She enjoyed gardening, butterflies, going to the beach and bird watching, especially hummingbirds. Sewing and reading were her other favorite hobbies. 

Mrs. Hanna was a member of Living Word Community Church in Red Lion. A celebration of life service will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, February 27 at Living Word Community Church in the Life Center room, door 7 at 2530 Cape Horn Rd., in Red Lion. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Along with her husband Roy, she leaves a daughter, Colette Gold and her husband Phil Gold of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Jessica Ward and her husband Mirza Arshad Dilawar Baig and Cole Burg and his companion Kaitlyn Settle.
