Carol M. Hess

LOCK HAVEN - Carol M. Hess, 55, of died Saturday, August 6, 2016 at her residence. She was born June 18, 1961 in Lock Haven a daughter of the late Henry and Freda (Moore) Cummings. Carol worked for STEP in Williamsport as an accountant. She enjoyed making and designing jewelry, reading and socializing with her friends. She attended the Salvation Army. Carol was a graduate of Lock Haven University where she received her BS in accounting. Surviving are one son Zach Hess of Lock Haven and three brothers William (Ellie) Cummings and Henry (Kelly) Cummings both of Beech Creek, Robert Cummings of Lock Haven and four sisters Brenda (Barry) Duck of Lock Haven, Cathy (Lou) Laguna of Palmyra, Debra (Stephen) Corbin of Milesburg and Jennifer Cummings of Lock Haven. A brother Charles Cummings and an infant sister Donna Kay preceded Carol in death. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 1:30 – 2:30 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Ross Library.
