Carol J. Harman

ETTERS—Carol J. (Pendergrass) Harman, 79, passed away Sunday January 23, 2022 at her residence in Newberry Township. She was the wife of Chancey G. Harman to whom she was married for 44 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10AM, Friday January 28, 2022 at Fairview Bethel Church of God, 800 Old Forge Rd, New Cumberland. Officiating the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Dan Masshardt. Burial will be held in Tri County Memorial Gardens. Beaver Urich Funeral Home Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born February 28, 1942 in Washington, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Earl and Modena (Bouser) Pendergrass. She was employed with Rite Aid as a receptionist for several years. Carol enjoyed reading, shopping and volunteered at Fairview Bethel Church of God and the Red Land Senior Center. Mrs. Harman is also survived by her daughter, Dena M. Sibbach and husband, David of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra S. Fleisher; a son, Karl R.
