Carol J. Greenwaldt

RED LION- Carol J. (Pylant) Greenwaldt, 71, passed away Sunday, October, 7, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Edward B. Greenwaldt, III. A graveside service will be held at noon on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. There will be a viewing from 10-11:30 a.m. at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, prior to the graveside service. Mrs. Greenwaldt was born in Baltimore, MD on January 17, 1947, the daughter of the late Raymond H. and Mary L. (Triplett) Pylant. She worked as a hairdresser for various salons in York County. Mrs. Greenwaldt enjoyed Bingo, cooking and baking, crocheting, and putting puzzles together. Mrs. Greenwaldt leaves three sons, James T. Greenwaldt of York, Michael A. Greenwaldt and his wife Kristina of York, and Shawn P. Greenwaldt of Forest Hill, MD; five grandchildren; a brother, Robbie Pylant of Maryland; a sister, Lorraine Docherty of Maryland; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward B.
