Carol E. (Krewson) Jamison

York—Carol E. (Krewson) Jamison, 70, died Monday, January 2, 2012 at her residence in Windsor Township. She was the wife of Rodney B. Jamison to whom she was married for 52 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 AM, Friday, January 6, 2012 at Christ United Methodist Church of Yorkana, 5 Main Street, Yorkana, with her pastor, the Rev. Forrest S. Bish II officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM, Friday, at the church. Burial will be held in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. Born October 13, 1941 in Windsor Township, she was the daughter of late Clair W. and Marian (Anderson) Krewson. She was employed as a secretary with the Red Lion School District and later at Precision Components Company for several years until her retirement. As a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Yorkana, she was part of the church’s Hearts and Hands Program. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, making crafts and attending yard sales. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jamison is also survived by two daughters, Dawn C. Poff and her husband, Michael of Red Lion and Robin L. White of York, five grandchildren, Zachary and Ryan Poff and Matthew, Kaitlyn and Jenna White. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie N. Poff.
