Carol E. (Christ) Nygren

PORTLAND, OR - Carol E. Nygren, 86, of Portland OR, died on January 8, 2007, at the Woodland Heights Nursing Center. Born in Pottsville on Navember 14, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Emme Hochgertel Christ. She was a 1939 graduate of Pottsville Catholic. She was married to the late Harry Nygren. She is survived by a brother Joseph Christ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM in the St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville. The Rev. David Loeper will officiate Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Yorkville.
