Carol A. Durs

YORK- Carol A. Durs, 78, of West Manchester Township, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Stephen A. Durs. 

A visitation with Carol’s family will be held from 10am-noon on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in York.

Mrs. Durs was born in York on October 7, 1946, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Ruth (Eveler) Kinneman. In the past, she and her husband had owned and operated Ye Old Salem Strip Shop, where they refurbished furniture. She and her husband liked going on bike rides and she also enjoyed walking her dog.

Mrs. Durs leaves a son, Timothy M. Durs and his wife Lisa; a daughter, Christine M. Senft and her husband Dan; two grandchildren, Jason Durs and Alexis Grzechowiak; six siblings, Wilbur Kinneman of Lutherville, MD, Elaine Peterman of Hellam, Greg Kinneman of York, Terry Kinneman of York, Nancy Sheffer of Hilton Head, SC, and Kathy Savino of York; a sister-in-law, Cindy Geoffrey-Parnell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Kinneman.
