Carol A. Richer

YORK, PA - Carol A. (McCulloch) Richer, 71, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at York Hospital. She was the wife of William ‘Mike’ Richer, to whom she was married to for 48 years. Born on June 15, 1949 in Airs, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Finlay) McCulloch. Carol worked as a Retail Manager at Bonton and Chicos before retiring in 2014. She enjoyed spending her time reading and had quite the library at home. Her and Mike loved to travel together; some of her favorite places were Australia, Tahiti and Dominican Republic. Carol was a member of the Outdoor Country Club. Carol is survived by two sisters, Debra Santonastoso and Alexa Jerzak, and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 4-6 PM at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, PA 17408.
