Carol A. Adam

Carol A. Adam, 66, of the Futures Community in Athens, Pa., passed away on Feb. 4, 2011 at her home surrounded by her friends and caregivers. Carol was born on April 23, 1944 in Sayre, Pa., daughter of the late Eleanor (Ingham) Adam. She enjoyed music, having her nails done, taking walks or rides in the car, and the times she was able to visit with friends.Carol is survived by her sister, Cheryl Adam; her brother, Richard Adam; and her family of caregivers and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor.Family and friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 14, at Carol's home, 111 East Cherry St., Athens, Pa. The memorial service to honor Carol's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 14, at Carol's home with Rev. Jeffrey Wilkinson, of Guthrie Hospice, officiating. Burial will be in the Tioga Point Cemetery. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home Inc., 110 West Main St., Troy, Pa., has been entrusted with arrangements.
