Carl W. "Billy" Ferguson

WEST YORK BORO- Carl William “Billy” Ferguson, 60, of York was born on August 18, 1955 during hurricane Diane and passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 during the biggest snowstorm in recorded history; thus was Billy’s life. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. Burial will be private in Salem Union Cemetery in Dover. Billy was born in Dover Township, the son of Ruthetta Mae (Emig) Ferguson of West York and the late Albert Leonard Ferguson. He was employed with the former R.I.T.C. in York. Billy enjoyed train rides, spending time in his pool, going to the beach, and his National Geographic magazines. Along with his mother, Billy leaves a sister, Sandra E. Bupp and her husband Timothy of York; his step mother, Helen Ferguson of Grove City, PA; a step brother, Rex White and his wife Sandy; a step sister, Wendy White; and two nieces, Kayla Krebs and her husband Robert and Kelsey Bupp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
