Carl Edward Brown

Carl E. Brown, 81, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Manor Care North. He was the husband of the late Sharon Brown, who passed away on August 22, 2010. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd., York. A funeral cortege will meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born on July 20, 1939 in York, he was a son of the late Edward and Lucy (Secrist) Brown. Carl served in his church choir and was a Deacon. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, was a musician and loved dogs. Mr. Brown is survived by two daughters, Tammy Brown and Kasey Ann Brown; and his sister, Betty Witmer of York. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Tresea Smith and Claudie Brown; and three brothers, George Brown, John Brown and Ray Brown. Memorial contributions may be made to Honey’s Raid Rescue, 252 N.
