Carl David "Dave" Thompson, 63, of Sunbury, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at his residence. Dave was born January 25, 1947 in Harrisburg Pa., the son of the late William and Pauline L. (Marshall) Thompson. Dave retired in April 2008 from Milton High School where he worked as a custodian. He had also worked for H. Warshaw & Sons and Interstate Motor Freight. He attended St. Paul AME Church in Milton. Dave enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, horseracing, off track betting, watching TV, and playing poker. Dave's life is celebrated by two sons, Duane Woodson of Harrisburg, Jamaal-David of Milton, two daughters, Helena Tlusty and son in law Jack of Freeburg and Jamie Thompson of Mifflinburg, seven grandchildren, one great grandson, siblings William and wife Peggy of Berwick, Margaret Henderson of Newark De. James of Milton, his fianc Rosa Mack of Sunbury with whom he lived, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorials: A memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M., Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton, PA Cemetery: Private interment Visitation: One hour prior to the service.
