Carl B. Wright

AIRVILLE- Carl B. Wright, 49 of Peach Bottom Twp., passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Tonia L. (Hall) Wright. The couple celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on July 3, 2015. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 740 West Locust Street in York. Viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York and 9-10a.m. on Saturday at the church. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Carl was born in Steelton on October 15, 1965, the son of the late Harold B. and Maxine G. (Wright) Tate. He worked as a Fraud Investigator for Highmark and EDS as well as a Senior Data Analyst for the former Coventry now Aetna. Carl was a member of National HealthCare Fraud Association and was a Certified Fraud Investigator. Along with his wife Tonia, Carl leaves two daughters, Jasmine D. Wright and Janae A. Wright both of Airville; two step daughters, Carissa A. Handy and Cierra L. Handy, both of York; seven grandchildren, Travis Handy, Tityanna Williams, Treasure Williams, Tajhmere Williams, Anyca Milan, Sergio Milan, and A’naija Milan; three brothers, Brian Wright, Larry Wright, and Eric Wright and his wife Teisha, all of Steelton; and a sister, Carisa Williams and her husband Wayne of Steelton.
