Carena L. (Miller) Howard

HANOVER- Carena L. (Miller) Howard, 83, of Red Lion, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Hanover Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Pastor Eric Ritenour officiating. A viewing will be from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery. Ms. Howard was born on January 13, 1927 a daughter of the late Clayton R. and Mabel B. (Rineholt) Miller. Carena worked for over 30 years for the Harold Neff Cigar Factory and later for the Autocraft Box Company, where she retired from in 1989. Ms. Howard attended the Red Lion Bible Church. She enjoyed cooking. Most of all, she was a loving mother and grandmother. Ms. Howard is survived by one son, Carl T. Howard of Red Lion; two daughters, Tina M. Yetter of Red Lion and Tamara S. Becker and her husband, Jon of Hanover; two grandchildren, Landon Becker and Tawney M. Pyle and her husband, Matthew; two sisters, Norma Grove of Felton and Betty Stitely and her husband Ralph of Red Lion. Preceding her in death were three brothers, Dennie Miller, Floyd Miller, and Wayne Miller; and four sisters, Ethel Flaharty, Arlene Lutz, Cleda Garner, and Miriam Miller.
