C. Robert "Bob" Anstine

NEW BLOOMFIELD- C. Robert “Bob” Anstine, 87, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. He was born on January 10, 1934 in Glen Rock, PA. Bob enlisted in the US Army in 1956. He worked for IBM for more than 30 years and retired from his position in 1987. Bob loved travelling with his wife, Jean. He loved to take photos, both during their travels and of local birds and flowers. He also had an extensive button collection that he enjoyed cataloging and organizing. Surviving is his wife Jean, his son, Timothy (Joan), daughter, Dianne Rohrbaugh and her son Derek; stepdaughters, Jayne Eckert (Ashley) and her daughters Erin and Amanda Eckert (Mark), Debra Foose (Bill), and her daughter Staci Badman (Justin); and three great grandchildren. He attended new Bloomfield United Methodist Church. A private graveside service will be held at Suburban Memorial Gardens in Dover. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to New Bloomfield United Methodist Church, New Bloomfield EMS, or New Bloomfield Fire Company.
