C. Gloriann (Hatterer) Mummert

YORK - C. Gloriann (Hatterer) Mummert, 77, of West York Borough, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Ray G. Mummert. The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on August 8th. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 9-10 a.m. The Reverend Lou Ann Jones will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Mrs. Mummert was born in Manchester on November 26, 1934, daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (Weirich) Hatterer. She worked as a beautician for approximately 30 years in the York area. Mrs. Mummert was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in York. Mrs. Mummert leaves two sons, Robert Mummert and his wife Gail of York, Michael Mummert and his wife Janie of York; a daughter, Wendy Matson and her husband Larry of Manchester; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Hatterer, Jr., Gary Hatterer; and two sisters, Dona Crane and Sandy Spangler.
