Bruno A. Egizi

MILTON - Bruno A. Egizi, 89, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 04, 2012 at Manor Care North, Williamsport. Bruno was born on December 02, 1922 in Philadelphia and was the son of the late Gustavo and Vinchenzia (Flosa) Egizi. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during WWII. Bruno had his own business in Lewisburg, Bruno’s House of Fashion and then moved to Florida where he had a beauty shop, Seaway Hair Designs. Upon returning to the area, Bruno worked in construction for many years. In his early years, he loved boating and horse back riding and after retiring, he loved doing wood work. Bruno was a member of the Truth and Restoration Church in Montandon until his illness prevented him from attending. On February 14, 1973, he married the former Bonnie E. (Trawitz) who survives and have celebrated 38 years as husband and wife. In addition to his wife Bonnie, he is survived by four daughters; Vivian, Vanessa, Victoria and Jennifer, three step-daughters and sons-in-laws; Brenda and Joseph Petaccio and Barbara and James Wacker, all of New Jersey and Beverly and Gary Luzier of Milton, one adopted daughter and her husband; Tara and David Lewis of Milton, nine grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, two grandchildren to his adopted daughter, nine great-grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law; Gustavo and Judy Egizi of New Jersey and two sisters and brothers-in-law; Olga and Armond Santerelli of New Jersey and Clara Jo and John Broglio of New Hampshire. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Martin and Vezzio. There will be a public viewing from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, January 07, 2012 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton where the funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Pastor James Kline will officiate the services. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
