Bruce W. Briggs

Wellsburg, NY - Bruce W. Briggs, Age 61, of Main Street, Wellsburg , NY passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center , Elmira , NY . Bruce was born June 20, 1948 in Poughkeepsie , NY son of the late Harry V. and Teresa A. Deer Briggs. Prior to his illness Bruce was employed as a truck driver for G & T Air Freight in Elmira, NY. After spending 20 plus years together he and the former Debbie L. Rinebold were married on April 25, 2010. He enjoyed fishing, nature; stockcar racing and other interests included grocery shopping and cooking on the grill. Bruce's greatest moments were the times he spent with the love of his life, Debbie and his buddy Bear. Survivors include his loving wife Debbie L. Briggs of Wellsburg, NY, son Michael (Karen) Rinebold of Dushore, PA, canine buddy, Bear, father and mother-in-law, Martin & Julia Rinebold of Gillett, PA, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Donna & Larry Sanford of Irving, TX, Martin & Patricia Rinebold of Milan, PA, Pam & Joseph Rugiero of Elmira, NY, Mike & Susan Rinebold of Gillett, PA and Kandy (Tom Romano) Rinebold of Sayre, PA, several nieces, nephews and friends. Bruce was predeceased by his parents. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 PM Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ashland Cemetery , Wellsburg , NY.
