Bruce L. Ream

Bruce L. Ream, 63, went home to be with the Lord Sunday morning, July 1, 2007. He was the husband of Jacqueline L. (High) Ream with whom he celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on August 5, 2006. He was a devoted husband and father. Following cremation, a private family graveside ceremony will be held at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Ream was born December 31, 1943, in West Earl Twp., Lancaster County. He was the son of the late Harold L. and Luella V. (Foltz) Ream. He retired from Glen-Gery Brick after 39 years of service where he was a past president of Local 603 United Steelworkers of America. He was a member of the 9th Ward Social Club and the Victory Athletic Association. He loved fishing and his family. In addition to his wife, Mr. Ream also leaves two sons, Michael Ream of Lancaster County, Ronald Johns, Jr. and wife, Darla of York; three daughters, Bonita Dean of Lancaster County, Bambye Wimer and Michelle Warren, both of York; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two brothers, Jay Ream of Lancaster County, and Mr. Ream's twin brother, Barry Ream of Berks County.
