Brian W. Roberson

YORK - Brian W. Roberson, 45 of West York Boro, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at his residence. He leaves his fiancée Kathleen “Mickey” Thomas of York. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 6-7 p.m. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. Brian was born in Mt. Holly, NJ on April 28, 1970, the son of Barry W. Roberson and his wife Jody of Laguna Niguel, CA and Diana (Zarharchuck) White and her husband Edward of Englewood, FL. He was the owner and operator of New View Painting and Restoration and worked part time as a social worker in York. Brian received his Masters Degree in Social Work from Temple University and did his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University. He was the captain of both the Wrestling and Cross Country teams at Ewing High School in NJ, as well as a member of the Wrestling team at Rutgers University. He enjoyed travelling all over the world surfing, which was one of his passions. Brian leaves a daughter, Alixandra Sophie Thomas of York; a step son, Myles Michael Thomas of York; a sister, Vanessa Brown and her husband Todd of Venice, FL; a nephew, Hunter Brown; a niece, Sienna Brown; and a step brother, Stephen Brazell of New Jersey.
