Brian K. Martin POTTSVILLE-Brian K. Martin, 35, of Mar-Lin, passed away Wednesday morning at his residence. Born in Pottsville, on August 28, 1972, he was the son of Clarence and Susan Hudock Martin, of Pottsville. He was a 1990 graduate of Pottsville Area High School. He was an Army veteran having served during the Gulf War, where he received the Humanitarian Service Medal. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Pottsville. He was also a member of the AmVets, Pottsville. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Michael and Veronica Hudock; his paternal Grandfather, Elvin Martin; his Uncle, Brian E. Martin. He is survived by his wife, Kandy Ann Kane-Martin, to whom he would have been married 14 years on October 14th; his daughter and son, Breana and Bryce Martin, both at home; his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Martin; his brother-in-law, Jared Kane; aunts and uncles; cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick's Church, Mahantongo Street, Pottsville. Father Kenneth Medve will officiate. Friends may call on Friday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and also on Saturday morning from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30A.M. at the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Streets, Pottsville. Interment with Military Honors will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., Pottsville is in charge of arrangements.
