YORK TOWNSHIP- Bret Wayne Hildebrand "Hit Man", 45, of Dallastown died Wednesday, August 11, 2010 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Red Lion. He was the husband of Teresa G. (Mervin) Hildebrand. The couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on June 30th. A Celebration of Life Service will be 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 3-4:30 p.m. The Reverend Logan Garth Swanger will be officiating at the service. Bret was born in York on May 26, 1965, a son of Gabriel E. and Gwendolyn (Grove) Hildebrand of Stewartstown. He was a Supervisor at Patent Construction at Sunbury Generation Plant at Shamokin Dam. Bret was an E Board Executive for the Laborers Local 1180. He loved riding his Harley and spending time at his paradise. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, pitching horseshoes and spending time with his grandchildren. In the past he played pool at the Happy Hour in Red Lion and fast pitch softball in Southern York County. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and served in the US Army. Bret leaves a son, Donald Hoskins and his wife Tanya of North York, a daughter, Tanya Haugh and her husband Billy of Dallastown; three grandchildren, Todd, Jr., Isaiah, and Brayden; a great grandson, Aiden; three brothers, Chad Hildebrand of Ramsey, IL, Brian Hildebrand of Mercer, PA, and Troy Hildebrand and his wife Julie of Red Lion; a nephew Cory, a niece, Nicole and several other nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to United Methodist Children's Home, Inc., 5120 Simpson Ferry Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
