Brenda D. Troup

Manchester—Brenda D. (Romich) Troup, 84, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 at her residence in Manchester Township. She was the wife of the late Preston L. Troup Jr.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.

Born December 26, 1940 in York, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Margaret (Miller) Romich and part of the first triplets born in York.

She was employed as a residential and commercial cleaner with various companies throughout the local area and was also a well-known breeder of show yorkshire terriers.

Mrs. Troup lived her life with a strong, independent and always hardworking attitude. She had a deep faith in God, who always thought of others first.

Mrs. Troup is survived by her daughter, Kelly L. Smith and husband, Matthew of Airville; 3 three grandchildren, Dillon, Owen and Elijah Young; two great grandchildren, Paris and Gunner Young; caregivers, Darnell and Rhonda and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her triplet sisters, Leona A. Peterson and Wanda L. Buttrey; sister, Theola Waltimyer; dog, Chelsa and the guiding light of her life, Aunt Lottie V. Miller.
